Wes and Casey,

Thank you for sharing your views on this. Take a look at David Brook's column in today's New York Times about it. Also, Manfred F.R. Kets deVries participated in a fascinating interview about it that you can purchase and download at Harvard Business review's website. This morning I have an interview with New York City's WCBS newsradio about Spitzer's fall. It's an opportunity to raise awareness of the issue and hopefully motivate those individuals who are at risk to seek help. If you have any writings that you've found helpful on this issue, please let me know.

Michael - Great words! In my world, I see a lot of people who disconnect from the relationships that will make them or keep them healthy. From the outside looking in, it does not make sense. But from their perspective, it seems right. They have compartmentalized their life in such ways that the different areas of their life (i.e. family, work, friends) do not connect in any way. With no connection, they can become different people in different settings. It is a train wreck waiting to happen.

Mike...

...exceptional words from you

...thank you

...I hope people will heed them

...living in even "splendid isolation" brings these results over and over and over again

...even with the seemingly "best" of people

...the fallout from a "noted pastor" here in Colorado is still being felt

...I thank God you are there on the front lines to impact and influence leaders in healthy and life-giving directions!
